Anna Short joined Cobden House in June 2015, having previously practiced from St James Chambers, Manchester. She is a common law practitioner with a particular expertise in Landlord and Tenant/Property and Personal Injury.
Her Landlord & Tenant and Property Litigation practice encompasses Possession claims, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders in the Magistrates and on appeal to the Crown Court, Injunctions, Disrepair, Homelessness and Business tenancies. She acts predominantly for Local Authorities and Social Landlords.
Anna's Personal Injury practice covers Employers and Public Liability,Highways and Occupiers’ Liability, Road Traffic Accidents, CICA claims,Fraudulent insurance claims and Travel Litigation claims for both Claimant and Defendant.
She also has experience in appearing in the High Court on Judicial Review Applications.
