The Family Department comprises of members
who specialise in all aspects of Family Law. This includes
Care proceedings, Residence and Contract cases, Injunctions,
Adoption, Ancillary Relief and all related children's work
and disputes over property for both married and cohabiting
couples.

Members travel to any courts
and cover the full range of hearings from the High Court to
the Family Proceedings Court.
Having an expert team of Chancery
counsel available in Chambers enables members of the Family
Department to consult with them where specialist advice is
required in respect of some areas of financial provision and
settlement disputes.
