      Matthew is currently undertaking a Business & Property with Housing pupillage under the careful supervision of Arron Walthall. Immediately prior to commencing pupillage Matthew was employed as a paralegal in the housing litigation team at a leading firm in Liverpool.

      Matthew has also advised at Citizen’s Advice, and The Enterprise Clinic. Here Matthew collectively acted on, or drafted advice in areas such as intellectual property, company, property, contract, and housing.

      At University Matthew was regularly involved in advocacy competitions. Having won or placed highly in many of these led to Matthew’s elected position as the Master of Moots of the University of Liverpool Bar Society.

      In his spare time, Matthew is often found bouldering at various climbing gyms, or where time permits outdoors at the crag. He is also a keen guitarist and particularly enjoys creating music in a band setting or attending live music events with friends.
