Overview

Having worked in the legal profession for his entire career, Martin has a wealth of experience stretching across all fields of work undertaken by Chambers.

Martin began his clerking career at 8 King Street Chambers in 1995. He joined Cobden House Chambers in 2005 having taken a year out travelling and playing cricket in Australia. Having joined Deans Court Chambers in September 2010 as Senior Civil Clerk and Family Clerk, Martin returned to Cobden House in September 2016 as Director of Clerking. 

He is responsible for the management and promotion of Chambers and works closely with all members and staff in this regard. He welcomes feedback regarding all aspects of service and prides himself on taking a pro-active approach to assisting clients. A strategic approach is taken to develop and maintain current and potential clients. Martin is very keen to visit clients to understand their needs and to seek opportunities to present our expertise through training, seminars and talks on specific legal aspects.

In his spare time Martin enjoys a variety of activities including playing cricket, hiking, and running.
