Lisa Wilson graduated from her LLB Law degree in 2008 and went on to complete the Bar Vocational Course in 2009.

Prior to qualifying at the Bar, Lisa spent two years working at a solicitor’s firm as a family court advocate where she provided advice and subsequent representation in the courts. The legal and advocacy experience gained during these two years laid the foundations for her career at the family Bar.

She has an increasingly busy practise being popular with both solicitors and clients; her friendly and personable approach lends itself well to her practice with her being sensitive to the particular needs of vulnerable clients. Equally, her robust and thorough case preparation sees her respected amongst her peers.

Lisa accepts instructions for all family court proceedings including both private and public law proceedings. She has also represented clients in cases involving international elements including applications to remove children from the jurisdiction as well as seeking the return of children wrongfully removed.

Lisa confidently represents individuals, local authorities, and children through their guardian. She has been exposed to a wide range of family law proceedings in the Family Proceedings Court, the County Court and also the High Court.
