On 24 March 2026, Gary Lewis appeared before The Right Honourable Mr. Justice Jay sitting in the High Court of Justice, King’s Bench Division.
After securing the dismissal of two conjoined appeals and a civil contempt application with totally without certifications, Gary persuaded the Court to grant the remedy of a two-year Extended Civil Restraint Order.
The hearing brought to an end (at least for now) long running and complex litigation between a landlord and former tenant which started life as a claim for possession but which escalated with six-figure cross-claims alleging unlawful eviction and fraud, before also finding its way to the Court of Appeal on the papers.
Gary represented the successful landlord, having done so for the past year during which he secured seven totally without merit certifications.
