Overview

Lois is currently undertaking a criminal pupillage under the supervision of Louise Blackwell KC and Sophie Kenny. Lois will be available to accept instructions from 7th April 2026.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Lois gained valuable legal experience as a paralegal across employment, personal injury, and criminal injuries compensation matters.  Lois also worked for two years as a Crown Court clerk at Manchester Crown Court (Crown Square), where she developed a strong understanding of advocacy practice, and court procedure within the criminal justice system.

During her studies, Lois volunteered with Support Through Court and Citizens Advice, assisting litigants in person and gaining experience in client-facing work. She recently completed the Inns of Court Youth Court Advocacy training (January 2026).

In her spare time Lois enjoys reading and going to the ballet.
