Eleanor Gleeson secures convictions in stranger rape case.
The case involved extensive CCTV evidence and a contested application under section 41 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999, which Eleanor successfully opposed.
Following the eight day trial, the jury unanimously convicted the Defendant of both counts of rape of the indictment.
The Defendant will be sentenced next month.
